TrailGuard™ Camera — Full Setup & Usage Guide (No Wi-Fi Needed)

1. Install the App

  • Download and install the “Linkmemo” app:

    • Scan the QR code in the manual OR

    • Search for “Linkmemo” on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install it.

2. Prepare the Camera (Enter Distribution Mode)

  • Turn ON the camera:

    • Long-press the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds until the camera powers up.

  • Activate Distribution Network Mode:

    • Press and hold the MODE key for 5 seconds.

    • Wait until the blue indicator light flashes — this means the camera is now in distribution (connection) mode.

3. Set Up Your Phone Connection

  • On your phone:

    1. Enable Bluetooth.

    2. Go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera’s signal — look for a network starting with “LLM_”.

    3. Enter password: 12345678 when asked.

4. Add the Camera in the App

  • Open the Linkmemo app.

  • Log in or create an account if needed.

  • Tap “Add Device” — the app will scan for nearby devices.

  • When your camera appears in the list (as shown in FIG.1), tap “Bind Now”.

  • Tap “Next” to proceed.

  • Customize your camera's name (if desired) and tap “OK” to finish.

  • The blue indicator light will stay solid — this means the camera is successfully added.

5. Using the Camera — Without Wi-Fi or Internet

  • The camera uses its own local signal via Bluetooth-based Hotspot Mode.

  • No need for home Wi-Fi or mobile data.

  • Simply:

    1. Turn the camera ON (in Distribution Mode).

    2. Connect your phone to the camera’s LLM_ Wi-Fi as described above.

    3. Open the app to view live video feed directly.

  • You can view the camera feed anytime within signal range, even in places without Wi-Fi or cell service (like barns, trailers, remote paddocks, etc.).

6. Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you cannot connect:

    • Hold MODE for 5 seconds again to re-enter Distribution Mode.

    • Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are ON.

    • Connect only to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (camera does not support 5GHz).

    • Keep away from metal doors or interference sources during setup.

    • Ensure the camera is powered properly.
